We'll be playing on Friday at the beautiful some velvet morning al in the name of keeping away from the infamous Melbourne winter chill :) We will be joined by Isobel Caldwell...
Isobel Caldwell is a Hong Kong born, Melbourne based musician, dabbling in projects spanning jazz, soul/funk, free soundscape and folk. Performing solo, her primary focus is folk music, with lyric heavy songs and a cathartically honest way with words that is hard to box in. You may have seen her performing around town with The Mamas. May also have been seen drowning herself in pineapple juice, but don’t knock it ‘til you’ve tried it.
We'll be playing at the beautiful skylark room, supporting the amazing Michelle Chandler Trio...
Michelle Chandler shares an openness and honesty in her life, wisdom, and a refreshing point of view on everything musical. The content of her music stretches over the deepest of emotions to the most captivating sounds imaginable. She has a down to earth personality, and lives a creative life that is visible in everything she does; knowing what she wants in her music, Michelle works tirelessly with a freedom of expression that is rare to find.
